Rivka Janowski, LCPC is a licensed professional counselor in Maryland with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. She works with adults and couples navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, perinatal concerns, co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and a range of other personal and relational challenges.

Rivka believes that every person’s story is unique and that meaningful therapy begins with understanding the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that have shaped who they are. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, she creates a collaborative space where people can slow down, gain insight, and explore what is and isn’t working in their lives.

Whether you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, struggling in relationships, facing a difficult transition, or simply seeking greater clarity and connection, Rivka helps people make sense of their experiences while developing practical tools for change. Her goal is to create a space where you can better understand yourself, identify what no longer serves you, and move toward what feels authentic and meaningful.

Rivka strives to provide a thoughtful, supportive environment where you feel safe exploring both the painful and hopeful parts of your story. Together, you can work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and a life that feels more aligned with your values.
