Talya Bedford

Talya Bedford, M.Psy. is a Registered Psychology Associate . Talya is currently a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at The George Washington University, having previously received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University. She has experience in an inpatient residential setting, a college counseling center, and a community mental health center. As a therapist, she has a primarily psychodynamic and integrative focus. She aims to create a containing environment for the patient to speak to experiences that bring them into therapy, and feel supported in making meaningful change. Talya values cultural competency and uses a trauma-informed approach.
