Video Sessions
Instructions to Join Your Video Session
Our practice uses Doxy.Me and Google Meet – both HIPAA compliant video conference programs.
If your provider intends on using Google Meet you will receive an email prior to your scheduled session with a link. If you do not receive such an email, then your provider will be using Doxy.Me as the platform.
Google Meet:
What you will need to do in order to use Google Meet will depend on what type of device you plan on using:
Desktop/Laptop – To join a Google Meet session when you are using a desktop or a laptop, simply click on the google meet link your provider sent you via email prior to your session.
Smartphone/Tablet – To join a Google Meet session when you are using a smartphone or a tablet you will need the following:
- Gmail Account
- Download Google Hangout Meet from the Apple App Store or Android Play Store
Once you have downloaded the Google Hangout Meet app you would need to login to the app with your Gmail account. Once logged in, simply find the email your provider sent you with you the link to the Google Meet session and then tap on the link.
