PsychCare has immediate availability for behavioral therapy services for children .

At PsychCare, Dr. McLean provides behavioral services for children and adolescents. Behavioral problems treated include the following: tantrums, aggression, disruptive behaviors, toilet training difficulties, mild self-injurious behaviors, elopement, sleep problems, and task refusal.

Therapy services are short-term (up to approximately 12 weeks) and family-centered, and focus on supporting parents in developing the confidence and skills needed to address difficult to manage behaviors within the home. Parent involvement is an essential component of treatment, and parents are given strategies to practice between appointments. Sessions are usually weekly at the beginning of treatment and become less frequent as improvement occurs.

  • Actively involve parents in the development and implementation of treatment
  • Improve adaptive behaviors
  • Create individualized treatment plans specific to the needs of your child and family
  • Reduce maladaptive behaviors which interfere with functioning, safety, and quality of life
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate effectiveness of treatment

Therapy services for children with development conditions is offered at at PsychCare’s Columbia office or can be conducted remotely .

The costs per sessions is $245 for the first session and $195 for subsequent sessions. Dr. McLean is an out-of-network provider at PsychCare.. A superbill can be provided at your request for out of network benefits.
