Laura Krause

Laura Krause, LCSW-C  received her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work, specializing in child welfare. She has worked doing in-home family counseling and outpatient individual, family and couples counseling. She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, an Adoption Competent Therapist and a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator who is adept in teaching parents and caregivers how to build a strong, bonding connection with their child by helping parents interpret their children’s cues through massage, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, and more. Laura has experience working with developmentally delayed, behaviorally challenged and homeless children, as well as postpartum depression, anxiety and depression, and family relationship difficulties. In addition to early childhood mental health, Laura has clinical expertise in the areas of adoption, trauma-informed intervention, neurological effects of trauma, attachment and connection, parenting and couples counseling, child development, early intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Play Therapy.
