Dr. Jennifer Bozenski (she/her) is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland and California. She has over fifteen years of experience providing individual therapy to adults with a wide range of issues including grief/loss, life transitions, difficulty with aging, relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Her approach to therapy is down to earth and compassionate with an emphasis on wellness and the integration of mind and body.
Dr. Bozenski earned her doctorate degree at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. She completed her pre-doctoral hours at the University of San Francisco where she gave short term and long-term therapy to a diverse student body. She then completed her post-doctoral hours at the Jung Institute of San Francisco where she was trained in depth-oriented therapy. She worked with adults in various life stages including those struggling with “adulting” to end of life issues.
Dr. Bozenski’s dissertation was on the impact of grief on empathy in the clinical relationship. Her area of interest and expertise continue to include grief and loss. She finds it meaningful to help people navigate different life transitions. Dr Bozenski also has an interest in mindful meditation. She was part of the University of California San Francisco research study examining the impact of mindfulness training on staff in an inpatient unit.
