Dr. Maggie McGuire (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical psychologist in Maryland, who provides individual and group therapy. She earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland and her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The George Washington University. Dr. McGuire has experience working with both adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. She sees therapy as an opportunity to work collaboratively and strives to tailor each therapy experience to the needs of the individual. Dr. McGuire has a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms and PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic, and life adjustment issues. Her therapeutic style is integrative and holistic, incorporating skills and perspectives from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and interpersonal therapies in order to uncover an individual’s strengths, fulfill their goals, and enable them to live a meaningful life.
