Dr. Ariella Lipkin is a licensed psychologist in Maryland providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Dr. Lipkin earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Washington, DC. She completed her internship at Assessment & Treatment Alternatives in Philadelphia, PA., a non-profit mental health clinic, and specialized in providing therapy and evaluations to victims and perpetrators of crimes. Dr. Lipkin attained extensive post-doctoral training at a men’s and women’s maximum security state prison. She also has a background in treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide-variety of clinical concerns, in both private and community mental health settings. More specifically, Dr. Lipkin has received training in child custody mediation, trauma recovery, LGBTQIA issues, and women’s issues. Dr. Lipkin uses an integration of cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, psychodynamic, and client-centered therapies to address the specific needs of the client.
