Ariel Martin, M.S. is a Registered Psychology Associate who has experience providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient settings. Her experience includes treating neurodevelopmental disorders such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, OCD mood and anxiety-related disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. She also supports clients with personal development through identity exploration, coping with life transitions, and managing interpersonal relationships. She utilizes an integrative approach in her therapeutic work, which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and mindfulness techniques tailored to suit the individual client.
Ariel also has experience engaging in milieu therapy with adolescents and adults in residential treatment settings. In addition to therapy, Ariel conducts psychoeducational assessments for clients who seek diagnostic clarity regarding cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning. Ariel has earned both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Psychology. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Maryland. Ariel was born in Trinidad and grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. She enjoys dancing, singing, and caring for her plants during her free time.
