Anne Kim

Anne Kim, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland, Washington DC, and Colorado, providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from Smith College in Massachusetts, she completed her Masters in School for Social Work at Smith College. Anne completed her first-year internship studies at a Community Mental Health Center in Boulder, working with elementary school students and their families providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Anne completed her second-year internship at University of Virginia working with college students at their Counseling and Psychological Services providing individual, couple, and group therapy. Currently, Anne is working for Counseling and Psychiatric Services at Georgetown University working with undergrad and graduated students providing individual, couple, and group therapy. Prior to Georgetown University, she served as an Adjunct Professor and an Assistant Director of Field Education in the Department of Social Work at Metropolitan State University in Denver. In addition, Anne worked at a hospice in VA, Mental Health Center of Denver, Boulder Valley School District, and University of Colorado in Boulder, providing clinical services, individual, couples, family, and group therapy for middle school, high school, university students, adults, and elders. Anne has experience and training in CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Clinical Supervision, and Mindfulness. Anne’s interest areas are strength-based therapy, diversity and multicultural issues, relationship issues, religion and spirituality, mood disorders, identity, attachment, trauma, and couple/family therapy. Anne would like to support clients in process of achieving self-actualization.
