Chavi Grayman
Chavi Grayman, LCSW-C is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Gratz College and her master’s degree in social work from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining Psychcare, Chavi worked as a psychotherapist at other private practices, servicing diverse client populations. She has also worked in a variety of roles in an intensive outpatient program, an applied behavioral analysis agency, and a special education school setting. She has completed a Certificate in Advanced Trauma Treatment-Level I from The Ferentz Institute. She also completed advanced training in emotionally focused therapy, including an externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Core Skills Advanced Training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Chavi works with couples and individual adults, using a combination of evidence-based approaches that have proven to lead to client success. She specializes in helping couples and individual adults navigate relationship issues, family difficulties, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. Her approach is rooted in an attachment-based and trauma-informed perspective. She utilizes modalities such as emotionally focused therapy, internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
