Yisroel Tenenbaum, LMSW, is a licensed master of social work in the state of Maryland. Yisroel graduated with honors from Daemen University in Amherst, New York, with a clinical focus on children and families. His primary clinical experience includes working with children, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and stress management. He also has particular experience with OCD, sleep difficulties, and ADHD. Yisroel draws heavily from the therapeutic models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) among other evidence-based approaches. In addition, he has training in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Yisroel takes a strengths- based approach and is passionate about working together with clients to help them get where they want to be in life.
